Mason will be crawing soon! He is so close now. He can pull his little knees up under him and push up with those arms and just rock a little. Right now he will get his belly off the floor, rock a little and then lunge. Before long he'll figure out how to put one hand in front of the other. He has learned that he can roll to get places. That is funny. But he still gets mad when he gets stuck and can't figure out how to move. It's good for him to fuss a little bit.. he tries harder. I don't let him fuss too long, but I do give him a chance to figure it out on his own. You can see that he knows his name in this video too. He just doesn't seem old enough to be doing this stuff to me! He's getting too big. :)

Family Party
Mariah had two birthday parties this year. One for her family and one for her friends. The family party was Tuesday night. She wanted a tinkerbell theme. After playing with her smart cycle for over an hour, she went to bed on her new tinkerbell sheets, wearing new tinkerbell pajamas and reading her new tinkerbell book. When I got up the next morning she was already riding her smart cycle again and just wearing a pair of new tinkerbell panties. hehe
Jon & Jamie Visit
Here are some pictures of the week we got to spend with Jon and Jamie. We drove up to Jamie's parents' house for their huge 40th anniversary party with two other couples. They had an inflatable bouncy barn that Mariah had a big time with. They also had a live band, dancing and fireworks.. all of which Mariah loved. I wish I had gotten more pictures up there, but Jon and Jamie got some too.
One of Mariah's gifts from Jon and Jamie was a little pool! Thursday they had fun playing with that and some water balloons. Mariah and Mason got to spend some good quality time with them and I am glad. The whole family had a good time and can't wait to visit with them again.

First Bath Together
Mariah has wanted Mason to take a bath with her for as long as he has taken baths. She doesn't understand why he has to have a seprate bath tub. Well, he finally sits up in his bumbo seat well enough that I tried to sit that in her bath so he could splash in the water with her. It didn't work very well because the thing floated! I had to hold it down for him to be able to splash around with her for a while. Mariah was able to hold it down long enough for me to take a few pictures and a little video. It was long enough to make her happy for now. My favorite line from the video is "Is he gunna spray his pee-pee up?" hehe

LOL
OH!, Mason loves his big sister! And I have looked forward to this time since before he was born. I love for Mariah to make him laugh and them have fun together. She has always loved Mason, but now she calls him "my brother" with a new sense of pride.

T-ball
T-ball was a blast this year! Mariah learned a lot. There were some trying times, but that is to be expected at this age. She played on the same team as Mallory (her friend across the street), Brayden and Cayden (the twins across the street next to Mallory). Some of my favorite shots were of Mariah and Mallory. This is a small collage of them. I'll post more pictures of Mariah and her Daddy later.
At the begining of the season she would get a little intimidated by the bigger kids all running after a ball. So she'd be content to just stand there and tell the other team when and where to run. hehe She said her favorite part was running the bases. And she loved when friends and family came to watch her play. They had some practices and then 10 games. Even after all those games she still loved t-ball and was ready to play more games. By the end of the year Mariah was hitting the ball when pitched, staying on the field by herself, and even running after balls the other team hit. I'm pretty sure she had just as much fun as I did.
