Playing Together

Mariah decided she needed to show Mason how it's done. She liked playing with this thing before he even got here. Now that he likes to play with it too they can play together. She usually sits next to him and shakes the toys but this day she decided to get in there with him. Of course, she said, "mom, take our picture!" I'm glad that she can already play with him and see him as more than just a cute little doll.

How can I not be proud?

Granny Annie

Mason got to meet his Great Grandmother Tuesday. He was eight weeks old. We met her in Hopkinsville and Mariah fell asleep on the way there so Annie sat in our car and visited with us. It was a short visit, but at least she finally got to see him.

Learning to play

Mason starting playing yesterday! I can't believe he is big enough to do this yet at a wopping 7 weeks of age. He was having a big ol' time. Mariah and I were just laughing at him and he was doing it long enough that I thought to run and get my camera. At first I thought it was just random, but then I decided he was intentionally batting at the frog.. and had a good aim at that.

Model Mariah

Mariah has become quite the little model. She always wants me to take pictures of her and Mason. And she knows just how she wants them positioned. I'll snap the camera then she'll say, "let me see the picture, aww how cute." She also is wanting to become a little photographer... we're working on that. Here are some of her poses and one of the best pictures she has taken.
